The quickest way to get in touch with us is by email, and a little context helps. Telling us which of the four reasons below applies will get you a useful answer much faster than a general message will.

Everything gets read, and most messages receive a reply within two working days.

What to include

You found a mistakeSend the article link and explain what is wrong with it. If a number or a standard has changed, a source we can check makes the correction much faster to make.
You want something coveredTell us about the question you could not find a straight answer to anywhere. The best ideas arrive as a description of a decision somebody was stuck on rather than as a topic suggestion.
You work in the tradeConverters, film producers, testing labs and compliance specialists are all welcome to get in touch. Somebody who can explain what actually happens on a production line is always useful, and a conversation can stay on background if that is easier.
You have a packaging problemWe cannot design a pack or recommend a supplier for you, because that would need somebody who has seen your product and your line. What usually helps is pointing you to the article that covers your decision, or to the question worth putting to the people you are already talking to.

What does not happen here

Saying this openly saves everybody time, so please read it before writing.

No guest posts or sponsored articles appear here, because nothing gets published in exchange for payment and a higher offer does not change that answer.

No link exchanges or paid link insertions happen, because links inside articles exist to help the reader and for no other reason at all.

No coverage is given in return for samples, although something genuinely interesting is always worth a look and a sample buys nothing beyond that.

No advertising runs on the site at present, and if that ever changes the about page will say so before any advertising appears.

Messages that ignore all of this get deleted without a reply, which is the only way a small operation stays on top of an inbox.
